Teodora Nikolova is a Bulgarian visual artist whose work explores the boundaries between the visible and the infinite. Self-taught and driven by an uncompromising inner vision, she works across painting and sculpture, creating pieces that invite the viewer into a dialogue with colour, form, and emotion. Born in 1981 in Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria, Nikolova built a successful career in business before following her true calling as an artist. Her passion for art — long a constant presence in her life — fully blossomed in 2024, leading to a remarkable international trajectory in a remarkably short time. In December 2024, she was awarded at the prestigious European Artist Award in Florence, in the drawing category, with her work “Roses” — her first major international recognition. Since then, her work has been shown in galleries across Rome, Turin, Monaco, London, Marbella, Florence, Milan, and Barcelona. In April 2026, her works were presented at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris. In May/November 2026, she participates in the 61st International Art Exhibition of the Venice Biennale — one of the most prestigious stages in contemporary art. Later in 2026, her work will be exhibited at the European Museum of Modern Art (MeAm) in Barcelona.
